Seattle

Went to Seattle over the weekend. It was just as wet there as it was here. Took Max on his first road trip. He was introduced to new friends Sugar and Buddy. They played hard the entire weekend. While we were there we did some shopping, took in a Mariners game and just relaxed. Oh, and drank lots of wine.

Kara's Baby Shower

Grandpa Reidt turns 80!!

Marisa's grandpa Reidt turned 80 at the end of January. We celebrated last weekend with a family gathering. The dinner was catered by Longhorn BBQ. We all had a ton of fun and got to visit with people we hadn't seen for awhile.

Bad Blogger!

I know its been awhile since this was updated. The holidays were good days spent with family. Thanksgivng was spent at our house with Marisa's family. Christmas was spent with Greg's family. We rung in the New Year with great friends at our house. We played lots of pool, guitar hero and lit off some great fireworks at midnight. Max started obedience classes last week. So far he is catching on quickly. Marisa also recently went to Seattle for some fun and relaxation. She shopped until she dropped and barely had room to bring all her purchases back home! Wedding Dress Party

Last Saturday night a friend of mine decided to have a wedding dress party. Her thought was that us women pay waaaaay to much for our dresses to wear them once and leave them in a closet for 50+ years. So her and 15 of her friends rented a Cadillac Escalade limo and hit the town in our dresses. We got lots of priceless stares, free shots and drinks, and had a blast. The limo picked me and another friend up at my house at around 7:30 at night and it wasn't until 2:55 am when the limo swung back down my street. I think my friend is planning on making this a yearly
event!

Kara's Month

It all started the middle of August with a garden tea party bridal shower for Kara. The weather was good, there were lots of yummy foods & beverages, & Kara got lots of great gifts. Then the Saturday before her wedding was the batchellorette party. We stayed at the CdA resort and hit several bars. It was a great night. On September 3rd, Kara & Deater tied the knot. The day was very windy but everything turned out perfect. It was a small backyard wedding and Kara was beautiful. The music was great and the dancing was fun. Here are some pics of all the events.
